During the dry-docking period, extensive underwater maintenance was carried out, encompassing activities such as propeller shaft inspections, shaft seal replacements, thordon bearing replacements, and the renewal of all underwater valves.
In addition, thorough examinations of the side, bottom, stern, and bow plating were conducted to verify that their condition was satisfactory. The hull was found to be in reasonably good shape. Assessments of plating, fittings, and connections in proximity to shell openings also confirmed their satisfactory condition. Hull thickness measurements were performed in accordance with IACS regulations and to the surveyors satisfaction. Propellers were carefully examined for erosion, pitting, blade cracking, or potential damage from contact.
Comprehensive checks and servicing of deck equipment, such as the anchor winch and chain, were carried out, as well as inspections of navigational and communication devices, culminating in a successful radio survey.
All navigational and communication equipment were checked, and a successful radio survey was also conducted on board.
Their meticulous planning, attention to detail, and exceptional coordination played a pivotal role in ensuring the timely execution of this comprehensive vessel maintenance and inspection endeavour.
The team's commitment to excellence, safety, and operational efficiency was evident at every stage of the dry-docking process.
We also extend our appreciation to our skilled technicians and crew members who executed their tasks with precision and professionalism.
Their hard work and dedication were all instrumental in delivering a well-maintained vessel that meets the highest standards of safety and performance.
This achievement not only upholds our commitment to our client but also underscores our relentless pursuit of excellence in the maritime industry.
We look forward to continued success and future collaborations with the same level of dedication and expertise.”
